Nissan is the main sponsor of UEFA Champions League and the 2018 Champions League Final will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine. To demonstrate Nissan’s passion for football and involve local fans actively in the excitement, we launched an integrated UCL promotional campaign in Ukraine with a famous player, Yevhen Konoplyanka.
During the campaign we prepared an exciting game for UCL fans: we asked them about an official UEFA statistic connected to a Nissan Intelligent Mobility feature that the Nissan Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail have. If fans could predict the outcome they could win Kyiv Final tickets.
We developed TVC tags with Konoplyanka to demonstrate Nissan Intelligent Mobility features and to bring attention to the promotion.
To keep up the excitement we shared Konoplyanka’s guess and after the match we posted his reaction in short videos: he celebrated if he was right or did a facepalm if he was wrong.
