Ukraine war – Help Without Borders

The war in Ukraine has forced many people to leave their homes. But they are not alone in their struggle: Hungarian Interchurch Aid immediately came to the aid of refugees on both sides of the border. And we were not idle either: in just a few days, the Help Without Borders campaign was born to support the nationwide fundraising campaign of the aid organization.

We developed a key visual, social media posts and print ads for the platform. We recorded a radio spot encouraging donations, in which we ask for financial support from listeners in the voice of Eszter Kardos. In addition, a TV spot was produced, while our banner campaign is running on jofogas.hu, DunaHouse, TV2, FemCafé and HVG. We also designed a HelloPay donation platform as a unique appearance, which will be displayed in Westend and Vivicitta.

In the HBLF Women’s Day campaign, we asked Hungarian CEOs to stand up for women’s equality

On March 8 the whole world celebrates women, but the number eight also highlights a fact that needs to change: Today, only 8% of the top 50 companies (with the highest turnover) in Hungary have female CEOs.

In the multichannel campaign we asked the Hungarian top executives to join forces with the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum (HBLF) and pledge to increase the percentage of women leaders. They answered the call. More than 80 CEOs have joined the initiative so far, and the number is still growing.

Hankook Tire has chosen ACG as its agency from this year

We are delighted to announce that from this year, ACG will take over the PR and social media agency tasks of Hankook Tire Hungary. The joint work has already begun: the results of this year's Hankook Education Tender Programme were announced recently: 2022 will be full of exciting anniversaries, CSR activities, product launches and related campaigns.

The cooperation will cover the full range of PR and social media tasks, so ACG will not only be responsible for Hankook's media presence, but also for the management of its Facebook page and influencer campaigns, among other things.

The pandemic forced the automotive industry as well as the communications sector to adapt and rethink its operations. ACG is pleased to continue its work with the Hankook Tire team, aiming to bring Hankook's products and socially beneficial activities into more and more people’s lives.

Samsung has appointed ACG as its new social media agency.

We are pleased to announce that ACG is now responsible for Samsung's social platforms, including influencer management, campaign management and content production tasks. In the invitation only tender, we developed a communication strategy for the latest smartphones in the Galaxy A series, with a strong focus on conquering the Genertation Z target group. Our first joint project, the official #powerAwesome challenge (for the introduction of the Galaxy A series), is already running on TikTok, where users can demonstrate how the long-life battery can boost their creativity.

HEPA támogatást nyert az ACG // ACG wins HEPA support

Az ACG Reklámügynökség, mint a régió meghatározó független, 100%- magyar tulajdonban lévő reklámügynöksége közel 50 millió Ft-os támogatást kapott a HEPA Magyar Exportfejlesztési Ügynökség Nonprofit Zrt-től külföldi terjeszkedési terveihez. A projekt az ACG reklámügynökség nemzetközi kapcsolatainak kiépítését és megerősítését, illetve a cég külföldi reprezentációját segíti. Célterülete az EU azon országai, ahol már partneri kapcsolatokkal rendelkezünk és onnan származó márkákat kezelünk, illetve Kína és a Távol-Kelet azon államai, ahonnan kereskedelmi érdeklődés tapasztalható a magyar termékek iránt.

A pályázat első sorban a magyar ügynökség külpiaci jelenlétének erősítését, esetleges nyugat- és középeurópai terjeszkedési terveinek megalapozását célozza.

„Szerencsére ebben a folyamatban nem a nulláról kell indulnunk” - nyilatkozta Calin Dániel, az ACG client service vezetője. Eddigi munkánk során sikerrel szolgáltunk már ki külföldi ügyfeleket, reklámjaink, saját fejlesztésű PR kampányaink futnak 13 európai országban, sőt, több olyan megrendelésünk is van, amelyben régiós központként szolgáljuk ki a közönséget.”

Az ügyfélkapcsolati igazgató elmondta, hogy az ACG speciális, saját fejlesztésű know-howját képezi az a stratégiai alapon működő, régiós viszonyokhoz jól adoptálható ügyfélkezelési metódus, amelyet szeretnének minél több országban bemutatni. Ennek speciális lökést adott a COVID-19 vírus, amely alapvetően változtatta meg a munkakörülményeket, de ebben a home office nehézségein túl egyfajta katalizátort is látnak. „Úgy véljük, a helyzet normalizálásáig az online kapcsolattartás egy teljesen új dimenziót nyithat ki a hatékony munkavégzésben” – kommentálja a vezető.

A HEPA EXP 2020 Külpiacra jutási Támogatás pályázatból lehívható anyagi forrást első sorban három kulcsterületen kívánják felhasználni. Az ügynökség eddigi lehetőségei erősen korlátozottak voltak a nemzetközi szakmai fórumokon, megmérettetéseken való részvételeken. Digitális részlegük már régóta tervezi Európa legnagyobb szakmai fórumán, a lisszaboni Web Summiton való reprezentatív részvételt, valamint az eddigi esetleges alkalmak helyett több szakemberrel, több projekttel vennének részt a Cannes-i Reklámfesztiválon is. Ezen túl kommunikációs és számítógépes eszközöket szereznének be, hogy a pandémia által korlátozott lehetőségek ellenére biztosítani tudják a megbízható, nagy adatforgalommal járó valós idejű információáramlást a budapesti és a nemzetközi szakmai végpontok között, illetve nemzetközi szaktekintélyek bevonásával workshopokat, tanfolyamokat szerveznek saját kollégáik és az ügyfelek számára.

Calin Dániel alapvetően hatékonyságuk, illetve prezentációs képességeik javulását várja a pályázat forrásaitól. „A COVID-19 járvány nem várt esemény volt mind a világ, mind a kommunikációs piac életében, tény, hogy embert próbáló időket élünk. De abban is biztos vagyok, hogy a válsághelyzet nem tart örökké és ha jól használjuk fel az így nyert forrást, nemzetközi kapcsolatainkban is megerősödve kerülünk ki a versenyből  – foglalta össze az ügyfélkapcsolati igazgató.

ACG, known as the region's leading independent and 100% Hungarian-owned advertising agency, receives 50 million Hungarian Forint in funding from HEPA Hungarian Export Development Agency Nonprofit Zrt for its foreign expansion plans. The aim of the project is to help ACG in building and strengthening its international relations and representation abroad. As well as to target those EU countries where we already have established partnerships and manage brands from. This also includes such regions of China and Far East, from where we have been experiencing commercial interest towards Hungarian products.

Primarily, the tender is aimed at strengthening the Hungarian agency's presence in foreign markets and laying the foundations for its expansion plans in Western and Central Europe.

"Fortunately, we don't have to start from scratch in this process," says Dániel Calin, Head of Client Service at ACG. “In the course of our work we have been successfully serving numerous foreign clients, our ads and in-house developed PR campaigns have been running in 13 European countries, among which there are cases when ACG has also been serving as a regional hub in terms of audience communication for those clients."

The account director also ads that ACG's special developed in-house know-how, is a strategically based customer management method that can be adapted to regional conditions and is planned to be introduced to as many countries as possible. The COVID-19 pandemics, which has fundamentally changed the working environment, has given a special impetus to this, but they also see this as a catalyst beyond the difficulties of the home office. "We believe that, until the situation goes back to normal, online contact can open up a whole new dimension of effective working," Daniel comments.

The funding received from the HEPA EXP 2020 External Market Access Grant is to be used in three core areas. The agency used to have limited opportunities when it comes to participation in international professional forums and competitions until now. It is for a quite some time now, since the agency’s digital department has been planning on a representative participation in Europe's largest professional forum, the Web Summit in Lisbon, and the Cannes Advertising Festival involving even more professionals and projects. In addition, the fund would be used to acquire communication and computer tools to ensure a reliable, real-time, high-traffic flow of information between Budapest and international professional endpoints. As a result, despite the limited possibilities offered by the pandemic, it would become possible to organize workshops as well as training courses, involving international experts, for ACG colleagues and clients.

According to Dániel Calin’s expectations, the funding cam help in improving efficiency and presentation skills within the agency. "The COVID-19 epidemic was indeed a very unexpected event for the communications market and the world in general; no doubts, this has been very challenging time for all. But I am also sure that the crisis will not last forever and if we use the funds well, we will be able to emerge stronger in our international relations," concluded the Account Director.

EFFIE – ACG voted Agency of the Year 2019

ACG had a great time at the EFFIE Gala: we came home with four trophies and the title “Agency of the Year”. One bronze for “Soproni APA” for HEINEKEN Hungária, two gold medals for “Dolls of Abused Souls” for Hungarian Interchurch Aid and “Soproni – What we share” for HEINEKEN Hungária and we also won the Platinum EFFIE Award – the most valuable award – for “Soproni – What we share” for HEINEKEN Hungária. What marvellous success! It was definitely a night we will hold in our memories!

Agency Gaming Cup - with METABRO, we’ve united the gamers of the Hungarian communication industry

As we’ve finished the first phase of our collaboration with METABRO, we celebrated the productive and efficient work and the launch of the new brand. How to go about celebrating with a gaming/e-sports client? Of course, we went out with them to play! We organised the first Agency Gaming Cup, turning it into a great bash. 16 CS:GO teams, 50+ FIFA competitors and hundreds of curious guests both from the agency’s and the client’s side. Just to get some idea about the e-sports buzz and see how a professional event goes.

And let’s not forget about our unique cheerleaders, who gave our squads an extra boost when they needed the most!
